One century ago my daddy was born … He only lived 41 years, but accomplished so much … He was an only surviving child … his parents died when he was young and he was raised by his Aunt Helen … He grew up enjoying fishing and playing tennis … He served in the army during WWII which was from 1939-1945, then later he met my mommy, fell in love and they were married … He started his own business, ‘Johnny’s Radio Service’ where he sold and repaired televisions and radios … He and my mommy loved each other very much and had four beautiful children … three years after the first three were born, i was born … My mommy said he held me in his arms and loved me … Then one night a couple weeks later he told her he needed to go to the store to get some milk … shortly after he left the house he had a sudden heart attack and was gone from our lives … My mommy loved him so much that she never married again … but devoted her life to raise her four children with integrity and hard work … i learned from her that the most important value in life is to persevere in faith in God, with Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord … My daddy and mommy have been wonderful blessings in my life thanks to God’s amazing grace and abundant love …
Jesus has turned the hardships of life into times of growing and learning more of His love and presence … We are all so blessed! I pray that all my family and friends will know God’s greatest blessings in their lives, too!
Our lives are so short here … but there’s an eternity with God in Heaven for those who are in Christ! Thank You, Jesus!!! My hope in Christ is that some day we will all meet together again in Heaven! God is so good! He gives us hope! He gave us Jesus Christ!!!
